JAMES J. KOSTER, MD

James Koster, M.D. is from Mesa, Arizona and received his Bachelor of Science and his Medical Degree from the University of Arizona. He then completed an Ophthalmology Residency from the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in Chicago and a Fellowship in Cornea & External Diseases from the University of Michigan’s Kellogg Eye Center.

 

Dr. Koster has been practicing General Ophthalmology in private practice since 2004 and is a board-certified member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He has extensive knowledge and experience in performing all types of cataract surgery including laser cataract surgery with premium intraocular implants.

 

Dr. Koster and his wife, who is a practicing Optometrist, are blessed with three wonderful children. They enjoy their free time traveling, hiking, and playing numerous sports. He also is passionate about the game of golf.
